Created by Joel Clark, Ph.D. author of Intern to Success and Careers in Political Science, Capital Education builds on Joel's15 years of experience mentoring interns and young professionals in Washington, DC, and helping design and direct several academic programs including University of North Carolina’s 14 campus Washington, DC program, and DC programs for UC Berkeley, Michigan State University, and University of Mississippi. Soon after, Fernando Lopez-Alves joined Capital Education as a co-principal and executive officer for international programs.  Fernando brings his extensive international academic achievements to enhance Capital Education's core menu of programs.  Each semester, Capital Education provides a variety of quality experiential, academic and professional development opportunities in DC and and other locations for students, groups and schools. As the primary setting for our programs, Washington, DC offers a rich professional, historic, and cultural environment to maximize learning, relationship building and goal attainment.

To further build a solid foundation of quality programs and opportunities that reflect today's rapid proliferation of global education networks, Capital Education is pleased to announce the formation of its International Advisory Board.  (See above and under our 'Bios' page.)
